This catalogue file is about a reliquary now preserved in Prato, but originally gifted to the Fiesole Cathedral in 1425. It is suggested that it was produced in Ghiberti’s atelier, just like the contemporary St. James’ Reliquary -Pistoia- and St. Andrew’s Reliquiary -Città di Castello, Perugia-, showing important similarities in their pedestals. This guess is confirmed on the basis of a stylistic comparison of the enamel with similar goldsmith works of art, and bronze ones.
