Regarding Lorenzo Ghiberti, the author transcribed the Decreto di legittimazione (decree of validation) after Ghiberti’s election to the council of the Dodici Buonuomini (that insitgated the inquiry over the artisti role as the legitimate heir of both his biological father and his putative father) and of a few records about the work for the Tabernacolo dei Linaioli.
