Sculptors' partnerships in Michelozzo's Florence

The article focuses on the different kind of businessrelationships present between Florentine sculptors in the 15th century, through Michelozzo’s experiences. He worked several times with Ghiberti: the first time as a helper for the first Baptistery door, then as an assistant to the difficult casting of St. Matthew statue for Orsanmichele; still as an assistant, but with a bit of leeway in the decoration, for the Strozzi Chapel and, at last, for the Gates of Paradise at first as partner and then as advisor.
