The article retraces Accarisi firm history. They had their workshop in Florence since the late 19th century and were awarded many times at the Universal Expositions. Notably, for the 1900 Expo they exhibited an ebony cabinet with a scaled-down (1:16) silver copy of the Gates of Paradise.
